Toledo’s Science Center Celebrates Solheim Cup in Toledo


TOLEDO, Ohio- It is here! The Solheim Cup is taking over Toledo and Imagination Station is excited to be a part of the celebration. This momentous occasion will bring hundreds of thousands of people to the Glass City and Downtown Toledo will be buzzing with activity all week long! 


Imagination Station, Barry Bagels and the Science2Go store will have adjusted hours to accommodate all the festivities happening throughout Solheim Cup week.  Imagination Station will be closed to the public Monday, August 30 through Friday, September 2; instead the team will be taking all the explosive science fun into the community to various locations beginning Tuesday, August 31 (see schedule below).


These pop up activities will feature our STEM activities that are sure to WOW the crowds while they explore everything that our wonderful city has to offer. The science center will reopen on Saturday, September 4, and remain open through the weekend and on Labor Day.

Fan Fest | 3-6:45 p.m.

A proud partner of Arts Alley, Imagination Station Extreme Scientists will do three signature, explosive demos.  Imagination Station is closed.


Saturday, September 4

Imagination Station is open. Lucas County kids (12 and under) get free admission and a free film ticket with the purchase of an adult admission.


Sunday, September 5

Imagination Station is open.


Monday, September 6 - Labor Day

Imagination Station is open to the public from 10am-5pm.

Imagination Station provides a critical layer of science enrichment by serving as an educational partner for teachers, schools and parents. It’s with a thoughtful blend of exhibits, experiences, education and excitement that Imagination Station inspires visitors to pursue STEM careers in Northwest Ohio.
